The JLPT N4 level builds on N5 foundations, preparing you for intermediate comprehension, communication, and real-world Japanese usage.
đ What is JLPT N4?
The Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N4 is the intermediate-level certification that demonstrates practical understanding of Japanese beyond basic communication. It is widely recognized by Japanese universities, vocational schools, and employers as proof of functional Japanese ability.
At Nihongo Kaiwa School, our N4 course is designed for students who have completed N5 or have equivalent knowledge. Over 6 months, you'll expand your vocabulary, master complex grammar patterns, and develop confidence in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
Upon completion, you'll be able to understand everyday Japanese in various contexts, read intermediate-level texts, hold conversations on familiar topics, and qualify for many Japan scholarship programs and work opportunities.
